A Tavern with Grand Flavor: One Eyed Mike’s

We have been lucky in Baltimore with all the lovely weather lately and with great climates comes the opportunity to eat, drink and be merry outdoors! As one of the oldest operating taverns in the city, One-Eyed Mike’s provides a fabulous dining experience paired with the option of dining “al fresco” in their open-air courtyard which has been voted “Baltimore’s Best Outdoor Dining.”

One Eyed Mike’s is a neighborhood tavern and restaurant located in historic Fell’s Point.  It’s a place where the locals frequent and refer to as their own, but the welcoming environment is clearly noticeable as well: “you’re only a stranger here once!”

What we really need to discuss is the food. One Eyed Mike’s offers a variety of menu items that are equally delicious as they are amazing. Just a few of the choices range from five alarm homemade chili, caprese salad with ripe roma tomatoes, and Maryland crab soup, to blackened tuna sashimi, potato pancakes and baked brie. The menu is endless and sure to satisfy a plethora of tastebuds!

Every Sunday, there is a special brunch that includes a plenty of benedict menu items, scrambles galore, and many of “Mike’s Specialities” including stuffed french toast, steak and eggs, lox bagels and lots more. Our mouth’s are watering over at The Fitzgerald just thinking about all the amazing food we need to try at One Eyed Mike’s!

The Sunday menu also includes a “liquid brunch,” which features different mimosas, The Grand Screw (made with Stoli orange vodka and topped with a float of Grand Marnier), coffee drinks, the Bellini of the day and many more drinks to choose from.
